Between the mainland and a large farming island to the south, there is a crumbling bridge. Under this bridge on the mainland side is a big hole in the ground. It contains two open yellow stone doors. Beyond them is a descending path along a cliff. ; This cave is the headquarters of the flensers. The flensers are former farmers and weavers who've all abandoned their families and have defected to banditry. The domain's baron thinks that winter will kill off the cave-dwelling bandits, and will only levy troops if it does not. The flensers are mining out the bridge-cave. They buy provisions, weapons, and materiel incognito in distant towns. The flensers get funds by selling slaves (for 1sp each) to local slavers who are called the munters. The flensers regularly get attacked by invasive crabs and worms, and by helv-pirates. ; Layout Beyond the stone entrance doors is a long path along a 400'-high cliff above the ocean. The cliff-path slopes downwards somewhat. At the end of it is a second cave which is 200' down from the cliff above, and 200' above the ocean. Inside this second cave is a rough-hewn foyer with three downward staircases. The staircases lead west, north, and east. Each staircase is straight and 120' long. ; Each staircase leads to a separate section that will have a chest containing a key. Taking the big iron key from any of these chests will close and lock the dungeon's big entrance doors. All 3 iron keys are needed to open the final chest, which contains the red key out, as well as a ring of tree climbing, which gives +50 to climb when climbing trees. ; Reskinned monsters: Salt worms are centipede, giant Giant leeches are tick, giant Flensers are unarmored bandits.
